BONFIELD – Georgia “Mama G” Anderson, 65, of Bonfield, passed away at her home on Saturday (December 4, 2021).
She was born on January 6, 1956 in Kankakee to Harold and Willedean (Rosbrough) Morse. Georgia married “Big” Tim Anderson on October 6, 1973 in Momence.
Georgia worked for NuMark Credit Union until she retired.
She always cared about family, friends, and strangers. She enjoyed waiting, feeding, and entertaining her friends and family. Georgia loved fishing and, most importantly, spending time with her family. She was a member of the South Wilmington Sportsmans Club.
Her husband, Tim Anderson of Bonfield, survived; three sons and three daughters-in-law, Ruben and Amber Anderson, from Peotone, Michael and Bree Anderson, from Bradley, and Timothy Jr. and Marci Anderson, from Limestone; a sister, Regina Morse, from Momence; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and family and friends from Georgia’s Fight.
Her parents preceded her in death; and a brother, Michael Morse.
The visit will take place from Friday, December 10, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., funeral service at Schreffler Funeral Homes, Kankakee Chapel, under the direction of Rev. Scott Henley. He is buried in the Kankakee Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Aroma Township.
Memorial sites can be set up at the request of the family.
