Georgia AG candidates Carr, Jordan converse onerous in discussion board

Jen Jordan said she is running for Georgia Attorney General because of the “tough challenges” that the job as the state’s chief attorney poses.

“I’m running to protect and serve the people of the state of Georgia, to be a voice for Georgians who don’t have power or money or status,” said Jordan, a Democrat. “Georgia families right now really need a champion and an independent custodian to watch over them and make sure they have safe communities. … The current AG seems more focused on defending the governor or defending partisan talking points than actually serving the constituents for whom he was elected.”
