David Nahmias will join Jones Day as a partner and oversee the investigation and defense practice in Atlanta, the firm announced Wednesday.
According to Jones Day, Nahmias was Chief Justice of the Georgia Supreme Court, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, and Assistant Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.
“David Nahmias was a highly experienced and nationally renowned prosecutor who has overseen virtually every type of federal investigation and federal prosecution, including high-profile fraud, corruption and terrorism matters,” said Ted Chung, Jones Day’s chief of investigative and defense practice.
