ATLANTA – Georgia State University College of Law has the highest bar passage rate in Georgia based on the results of the February 2020 exam.
The College of Law’s rate for first-time test takers was 88.9 percent and overall 84.2 percent. That puts the College of Law ahead of any other law school in Georgia and the overall state average of 60 percent.
For repeaters, the 80 percent pass rate for Georgia was higher than the 32.8 percent pass rate for Georgia law schools as a whole.
Leslie Wolf, Interim Dean of the College of Law, attributed the school’s performance to the school’s strong academic preparation and support, as well as the hard work of each graduate.
“We strive to build a community in Georgia State Law that creates space for students to thrive,” said Wolf. “We are so proud of our great students and look forward to celebrating their achievements with them throughout their careers.”
