Do all police vehicles have to have a dashboard?
I have been pulled over twice and both times asked for evidence that I had committed a crime by asking to see dashcam footage, but both times the officers informed them that they had no dashcams and they did didn’t have to have in their patrol car either

A: No requirement in GA. South Carolina passed legislation over 15 years ago and implemented it in all police vehicles. The Georgia Police Department has INTENDEDLY not install cameras in some jurisdictions because they do not want the accused to have that evidence.
