A plastics recycling company faced eight major violations, five repeated violations, and a possible $ 164,308 fine after the fatal fall of a worker at the company’s Toccoa, Georgia facility in December.

Scrap Masters Inc. is alleged to have failed to provide guardrails to stairs and platforms, which contributed to the 56-year-old worker’s six-foot fall from an elevated platform, resulting in a fatal head injury.
