Hannibal Heredia, family law attorney and managing partner of a law firm based in the Cumberland Community Improvement District (CCID), has been named to Georgia Trend Magazine's annual “Legal Elite” list.

Heredia's law firm, Hedgepeth Heredia, practices family law, including “divorce and separation, child custody, support, property division, paternity, prenuptial/postnuptial agreements, adoption and alternative reproduction.”

The award was announced in the December 2019 issue of the magazine in the family law category.

A press release from Leff & Associates describes the magazine's annual list as follows:

Now in its 17th year, the Georgia Trend Legal Elitelisting allows attorneys to recognize their peers for outstanding achievements and is open to attorneys throughout Georgia in fourteen practice areas. This year's featured attorneys practice throughout the state and represent 16 practice areas.

Attorneys may not vote for themselves and may only vote for members of their own firm if they cast as many or more votes for attorneys outside their firm. The lists are determined solely by the votes of the lawyers. There are nearly 30,000 practicing attorneys available for nomination in Georgia. The listing appeared in the December issue of Georgia Trend.
