“I am grateful that my career was chosen as a focus for this course,” Harvey said in a press release. “I’m involved in so many projects, from television to business deals and everything in between. My Chief Legal Officer, Brandon Williams, and my team ensure my interests are protected with any new venture. I want all aspects of my career to be used to educate the next generation of entertainment lawyers.”

An Atlanta resident who films several TV shows in the area, including Family Feud and ABC’s recently launched Judge Steve Harvey, Harvey has a long career spanning more than three decades. He has had his own sitcom and several hosting and talk show appearances. He has a syndicated morning radio show that can be heard locally on Majic 107.5/97.5. He spent years getting up. He runs a charitable foundation. He has a clothing line. He is a bestselling author. His legal needs run deep.

Ivory has previously taught classes around Real Housewives of Atlanta entrepreneur and Xscape star Kandi Burruss, and Atlanta hip-hop legend, businessman and actor Ludacris.

She’s also teaching a class on hip-hop and law this semester. Ivory, who ran for city council but lost in 2017, is a lawyer and still has a select list of clients including Fair Fight, a national voting rights organization.
