Today, DailyMail.com can clarify the situation as family members have confirmed that Revels-Glick did indeed die by suicide, but her death occurred more than a year and a half ago and was unrelated to the Tybee Island Beach incident or its recent resurfacing.

Revels-Glick is seen in arrest footage released last week denying the intimate moment and claiming she was merely lying on her towel. Eight months after her arrest, Revels-Glick was found dead from a gunshot wound to the head. Her death certificate listed the cause of death as suicide

Speaking to DailyMail.com, a family member who requested anonymity said: “Christina is gone.” She died about a year and a half ago. I really can't tell you why she left like that.

“She had a good life for a while, drove a BMW, had a nice house – but she was wild.”

The family member said that Revels-Glick simply “went unhinged.” The attractive 35-year-old had two sons, a 19-year-old from a relationship and a 15-year-old from a marriage that ended in divorce in 2015.

But while the marriage officially ended this year, it had long since failed, with Revels-Glick leaving behind her then-husband and their child just six months after the baby was born.

The relative said, “She got in trouble.” She went to prison in Florida, got arrested, her husband took her back after all that, but she was just wild.

“Then she got involved with a really bad group…drinks, drugs.”

The Liberty County coroner told DailyMail.com that Revels-Glick's date of death was March 31, 2022 and, according to the family member, she had been dead for about 30 days before her body was found in a rental apartment in Hinesville, Georgia. in which she had lived.

They said: “It took a while to find out who she was, but they managed to find out because she had bought her son a motorbike and filled out the registration papers, so they had that.”

They added: “When they told us we thought, 'Well, at least we know where she is now.'

Instead, her landlady found her decomposing remains amid a horrific scene of a spattered and bloodied apartment after entering the house because Revels-Glick had failed to pay rent.

Revels-Glick's landlady found her decomposing remains amid a horrific scene of an apartment splattered and covered in blood after she entered the house because she had failed to pay rent

The Hinesville Police Department report states that a handgun was found on the master bedroom bed. It states: “A hole was also observed in the roof directly above the bed.” On the opposite side of the hallway, a decomposing female body (later identified as Ms. Christina Revels-Glick) was observed lying on the floor.

There was “a large amount of blood” on the living room floor, “two separate trails of blood leading in both directions in the hallway,” and “blood [was] observed in the guest room on a chair, desk and computer,” Officer Timothy Conley wrote.

The report states that Revels-Glick had “a gunshot wound to the forehead.”

It also shows that Revels-Glick's landlady had requested a welfare check twelve days earlier, on March 19, and that “negative contact was made”.

In a poignant detail, police officials said an attempt to get animal control out and take control of Revels-Glick's two cats was rejected “due to their protocol of only coming out for sick or injured animals.”

Revels-Glick was cremated following a small ceremony in her hometown of Fitzgerald, Georgia. Neither her ex-husband nor her son were present.

Records show Revels-Glick has had multiple run-ins with the law in Georgia and Florida, where she was considered a fugitive from justice because she was accused of carjacking in 2018. In addition, she was arrested and presented to the public more than once for drunkenness in the same year.

Court records in Chatham County, Georgia also show multiple civil lawsuits against her, including claims against her for unpaid rent, property damage and stolen property.

In one case, repeated attempts to locate and serve Revels-Glick – who apparently became a partner again in 2017 and went by the name Glick-Revels Snell – proved unsuccessful.

In July 2018, and in her absence, the court awarded $11,051.71 against her and her then-partner – for whom DailyMail.com could not find marriage certificates.

Revels-Glick, then 34, was approached by police officers after families reported her lewd behavior on Tybee Island Beach on July 1, 2021. The mother of two was released on a summons shortly after her arrest, but there is no record of her ever appearing in court on the charges

In January 2019, now reverting to the Revels-Glick name, she was sued in Savannah by the Harmony Towne Homeowners Association for breach of contract, but the case was dismissed because court officials were again unable to locate her.

Revels-Glick had little contact with her family or the fathers of her children when the Tybee Island Beach incident made local headlines in 2021. At the time, he caused little stir on social media.

That changed last week when bodycam footage was released and the website The Smoking Gun obtained the police report.

According to the incident report, beachgoer Sarah Moss notified police and recorded Revels-Glick's act. She told officers that Revels-Glick walked past her family's tent several times before stopping and laying out a towel.

The report states: “At one point, the female stopped outside her tent, laid out a white towel, and then sat on the towel.” Sarah watched as the woman opened her green backpack and pulled out what appeared to be a vibrator. Sarah stated that the woman began to masturbate with the vibrator…she could hear her moaning. Sarah said after about five minutes the woman gathered her belongings and left the area.

The video, in which the woman admitted to masturbating on the beach, was viewed more than 2.5 million times and received sympathy from many viewers. Many criticized the police's decision to arrest her

Bodycam footage showed Revels-Glick initially trying to deny that she had done such a thing, instead asking officers, “Who saw that?” and assuming one of her friends was playing a prank on her.

She said the whole thing was “highly offensive” to her before one of the officers asked her to search her bag and Revels-Glick had to admit it contained her vibrator.

The officer said, “So you had a vibrator?” To which Revels-Glick replied, lying down to demonstrate, “Listen, I was sitting on the water like that.” I just put it in there. I was covered and had just had an orgasm. I'm sorry. I was just stressed.'

She further told officers that the whole thing only lasted “20 seconds.”

Revels-Glick apologized while being charged with indecent exposure and disorderly conduct, telling officers she didn't think anyone saw her.

She was released on a summons shortly after her arrest, but there is no record of her ever appearing in court on the charges.
