Suspected hitman Lindsay Shiver called the police over her estranged husband when he banned her from using her private jet to visit her bartender lover in the Bahamas, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.
The mother-of-three called 911 on July 16 to report a “physical altercation” when ex-soccer player Robert refused to let her take her and their three young sons to the Abaco Islands.
Police bodycam video obtained by DailyMail.com shows the ex-couple arguing and exchanging allegations in the driveway of their sprawling $2.5 million marital home in Thomasville, Georgia.
Insurance mogul Robert, 38, says he is divorcing Shiver, 36, and it will upset the kids to see their mother fly to the Caribbean only to disappear with another man.
“I told her I didn’t support it. “You’re not getting on the plane,” he tells Thomasville police officers. “It’s going to mess with the kids’ heads and we’re just not going to do that.”

Shiver called police about her estranged husband when he banned her from using her private jet to visit her lover, Terrance Bethel, 28. Born in the Bahamas, Alabama, Shiver graduated from Auburn University, where the two met in 2007 when Robert was captain of the football team. “We filed for divorce.” We live in the same house. It’s hell on earth as you can imagine,” Shiver told police officers. Shiver told officers her husband “pushed her out of the way” so he could unload luggage from their fancy Cadillac Escalade. In the footage, former Auburn University athlete Robert denies he pushed his blonde wife — but she snaps back, “Would you like me to show you the photos?” Officers pulled up outside the Shivers’ seven-bedroom mansion, where Lindsay found her greeted her in the driveway in a sundress
Former Auburn University athlete Robert denies pushing his blonde wife – but she replies, ‘Would you like me to show you the photos?’ It only takes an hour on the plane.’
Shiver and her lover, Terrance Bethel, 28, were arrested five days later in the Bahamas along with would-be hitman Faron Newbold, 29, the man they allegedly hired to assassinate Roberts, who was arrested after implementing their “plot” in the US fled exposed.
Shiver’s alleged co-conspirator and lover, Terrance Adrien Bethel, 28, and accused “killer” Faron Newbold, 29, were also pictured for the first time
Bahamas prosecutors say the trio discussed the attempted attack via WhatsApp before Shiver sent Newbold a picture of Robert, who filed for divorce in April, along with the instruction: “Kill him.”
The well-groomed Georgia housewife was fitted with a GPS ankle monitor and released on $100,000 bail last Wednesday after serving 19 days in Nassau’s Fox Hill prison, which has been criticized for its overcrowded, atrocious prison conditions and the rampant violence is notorious.
She must remain in the Bahamas, where she faces up to 60 years in prison if prosecutors can prove the news was a real assassination.
Before their split, the couple made regular trips to sun-drenched Abaco, where Robert’s family owns an estate in Baker’s Bay. The ultra-exclusive resort also features expensive vacation homes owned by Tom Brady and Michael Jordan.
But while he and the kids vacationed there, Shiver spent the last few months falling in love with her handsome, younger boyfriend, Bethel.
DailyMail.com’s exclusive bodycam video begins as officers pull up outside the Shivers’ seven-bedroom mansion as Lindsay greets them in a sundress in the driveway.
“We filed for divorce. We live in the same house. “It’s hell on earth, as you can imagine,” she explains.
“But anyway, I woke up this morning, we had travel plans for departure, and he insists I don’t drive … he pushes me out of the way and tries to unload my car.” Tells me he does car owned; he has the right to it.
“He just got super aggressive and I called right away because he’s been physically attacked before and I just don’t do it.”
Shiver claims her husband “pushed her out of the way” so he could unload her luggage from her fancy Cadillac Escalade.
However, officers state that they need evidence before they can take action against Robert, who is inside the house during their conversation.
“Apart from asking him to calm down, I personally do not recommend that you go on vacation together when there is such an issue and you have filed for divorce,” a police officer said. “It’s obviously a hostile situation.”
A judge released Lindsay Shiver from Bahamas prison on a $100,000 sentence, but she must surrender her American passport and return to the police station three times a week. She is accused of plotting to kill her husband. As they approach the exclusive residence, Robert is heard telling Shiver, “You are amazing.”
“You think you’re above the law,” she hisses in response.
Roberts tells police his wife has spent the past three weeks planning a “couple’s getaway” to the Florida Keys with another man.
“I’m taking my kids, my three boys, to the Bahamas this morning.” “Our kids,” he says in the footage.
“Yesterday she texted that she was changing her plans and was now boarding the plane to the Bahamas with me and the kids. When she lands she will fly with her boyfriend and I and the kids will drive to our house.”
“I told her I didn’t support it. You don’t get on the plane. “It’s going to mess with the kids’ heads and we’re just not going to do that.”
Robert tells police that he and Shiver each own 25 percent of the private jet, but the majority owner agrees that she should not be allowed on board.
“I wasn’t pushing you or anything,” he says to his wife. “You can ask everyone I know if I’m an aggressive or abusive person.”
As the excitement dies down, the officer urges them to go their separate ways to de-escalate the fight.
Shiver continues to badmouth her husband of 13 years, but the cop points out she has no proof.
“I mean, if you get video footage, you have security cameras, you have something I can look at and say, yes, he put his hands on you,” the officer tells her.
A police report seen by DailyMail.com confirms that while officers registered “threats” and “offensive language”, they did not have sufficiently probable reasons to take action.
In the days following the incident, Robert and Shiver traveled independently to the Bahamas, where she was dramatically arrested on July 21.
The alleged hit-and-run arose by accident when management at Grabbers, a rum-soaked waterfront bar where Bethel employees first met with a Vacation Shiver, reported a burglary to police around July 20.
The thief had cut power cords and disabled the generator to make sure the security cameras weren’t working before slipping into the office to search a safe.
Fearing the work of an insider, the officers insisted on checking Bethel’s phone, only to find unrelated messages in which he had allegedly told his childhood friend Newbold that he wanted to harm Robert.
Faron Newbold, also known as File
Sources say Shiver suspected her husband was using his influence to make life difficult for her new lover.
She allegedly sent Newbold a picture of Robert along with an alleged order to assassinate him, leading to all three being arrested on July 21 and flown to Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas, to face charges.
The two men were released on $20,000 bail last week.
Shiver and Robert were scheduled to face each other in Thomas County Superior Court, where they filed explosive counterclaims against each other in a hostile custody battle.
While Robert accused his wife of cheating, she countered with allegations of “physical and mental cruelty”.
Shiver claimed their alleged affair took place during a period of separation and was “condoned by the law of the husband,” according to court documents.
Her attorney suspected that Robert acted abusively, writing in a request for a restraining order, “[Shiver]feels unsafe in the marital home and has placed locks on the interior doors of the home for protection.”
“(Robert) abused the woman at home in the presence of the children on numerous occasions, not only physically but also mentally and emotionally.”
A native of Alabama, Shiver graduated from Auburn University, where the two met in 2007 when Robert was captain of the football team.
Robert is the son of Allen Shiver, who served as CEO of Flowers Foods for more than four decades before retiring from the $5 billion company in 2019.
Robert signed as a free agent with NFL team Atlanta Falcons but was fired due to roster cuts before the 2009 season and eventually became Executive Vice President of Senior Life Insurance Company.
In an exclusive chat with DailyMail.com last week, Bethel declared his love for Shiver and said the marriage was hanging in the balance long before his release.
“None of us have anything to hide. “People take everything at face value and defame us,” he said.
DailyMail.com exposed Newbold – aka Faylo – as a music producer and the son of a local politician in Marsh Harbour, the capital of Abaco.
He works full-time as a civil engineer for an energy company, and friends have scoffed at suggestions that he worked as a hitman on the side.
