A Georgia attorney was revoked his license to practice law on Tuesday after the state Supreme Court found he had abandoned a client’s divorce case, failed to provide his new attorney with another former client’s file and failed to participate in disciplinary investigations.
Franklin McCrea was hit by two Georgia State Bar complaints, including one alleging that he failed to provide a client’s new attorney on a federal criminal matter with a client file. In the second matter, McCrea was charged with not responding to a client and failing to close the client’s divorce case.
