An attorney admitted to the bar in 1992 was disbarred Tuesday by the Georgia Supreme Court for allegedly neglecting three clients.
Evelyn Proctor has been accused of abandoning three different clients seeking help with an uncontested divorce, a child support change and a misdemeanor felony. Proctor allegedly failed to submit documents, failed to respond to customer inquiries, and failed to refund their fees.
Prosecutors attempted to serve Proctor, but they did not respond and are deemed in default, according to the court.
The state Supreme Court agreed with the bar association that the appropriate sanction is disbarment. …
