“A Morning of Firsts” in the Georgia Supreme Court: New Attorneys, New Justice, New Boss

The Georgia Supreme Court opened its new term Tuesday with a round of musical chairs. The new Chief Justice Michael Boggs now sits in the middle of the nine-member panel. Newcomer Andrew Pinson, located at far right, also stepped on the bench in his high court debut.

“Good morning defense attorneys and welcome to the Supreme Court,” Boggs said. “On behalf of my colleagues, I am also pleased to welcome our newest judge, Justice Andrew Pinson, to his first hearing.”
